In Camping Holiday.
Gem of a Holiday. Camping out under the star.
Lets Go Camping.
What equipment you need.
Going Camping, putting up your tent, or having a camping trailer, Caravan. Your choice.
What a sunset.

So Relaxing.
Camping out in the bush with the heat, flies and animals.
Fresh air.
It Is a very relaxing weekend.
When buying a tent it is a good idea to have extra rooms. You can use them for changing room, and a room to store your food. Sometime you have to use a room for eating as the flies do get bad some times while camping out. The right tent, one that can stand up to all conditions. Buying the right tent.

Setting up camp.
You don’t want to take an hour setting up your tent. Your tent Should be easy to set up, then it will not, take you long to set up camp. and for comfort, you should be able to open up numerous windows and vents to allow for ventilation. You don’t want bug crawl in your tent. We are in Australia where it is home to a lot of dangerous bugs and other creatures, and Animals.
Safety First , and You wont have a problem.
Shade Covers.
Putting up a shade tent/cover is a good idea . When we go camping, you should have a shade cover with a fly screen, so we can eat without the fly’s. Great investment. Shaded dark areas the flies do not like.
Relaxing Holiday
If it is looking for gemstones , fishing or exploring the country side, finding that quite water hole, Just having a BBQ somewhere other than home. (no fires please) Want a wonderful way to enjoy our beautiful country.
A Gem of a Holiday.
Looking for Gemstones while Camping out: Is allowed in most dedicated fossicking land and area. You have to get a permit for some areas and that cost money. The camping permit does not authorise you to fossick, you have to also purchase a fossicking licence. One of the best ways to find out more information is to go to www.qld.gov.au Make sure you have permission. All the land in our beautiful country belongs to some one.

You need a four wheel drive.
We live in Queensland and we have bitumen roads for main highways. When you head away from the big cities the roads get worst even bad to very bad in some places. It is a must to have a four wheel drive, And you also need to know how to drive it. We have no phone coverage once you leave a town, you have GPS navigation. A must have item is a Navigator Yes our cars have them, but it is good to have a hand held one also, for when you go walk about. We have a garmin navigator. It tracks you where you go, also show you the way back, is what you need some times.

Have A Navigator:
Having a navigator will help you, find your way back safely . Great chance you want get lost.
Example one day we decided to go for a drive at 3pm in the afternoon. We went the quickest way to get there. The road was that rough it took us 2 hours to do 13 kl ( 26miles) The road was that rough I wanted to get out of the car and walk. We had run out of time it was dark by 6pm, on our way home we decided not to go the same way home, to go a different way. The garmin navigator tracked us out to the main highway. Easy.
Camping out:
You can even take a air conditioner if it is to hot.
Having a battery operator fan is a way to kept cool in the hotter months.
Toilets:
Portable camping toilets are a must have item if you are camping where other people go.. Nothing worst then finding a creek bed full of toilet paper. People used to dig a big holes for a Camping Toliets.
Think of the animals when camping.
Rubbish:
Rubbish is everywhere, it is where you are going to camp, is there a rubbish bin. If you answered, yes ask your self who would come all the way out here to empty a rubbish bin. Stupid Question. No matter where you camp take all your rubbish with you. Even take more if other people have left rubbish laying around.
